TELAMON ENERGY SOLUTIONS COMPLETES 1.7MW SOLAR PROJECT FOR TRI-CREEK SCHOOLS

Stemming from a concept inspired by a student essay, the Tri-Creek School District cut the ribbon today on 1.7 megawatts of solar power designed and developed by Telamon Energy Solutions (TES). The kids and community came together around the concept of creating energy, while simultaneously preserving the environment and saving money. At the end of the day, the TES project will provide significant cost savings for over 25 years and allow for the district to use the savings to pay higher wages to teachers.

Under the leadership of then Superintendent Debra Howe, Tri-Creek worked hand and hand with the TES team to endure push back from the local utility, attacks from the Legislature against net metering, and even local pressures to use designs that were not well suited for the school district. The TES team worked tirelessly on the project for close to a year and saved the school district approximately $200K with their choice of design and RFP and construction management service.
